Sharing his admiration on X (formerly Twitter), Gupta recounted a conversation with a crew member who witnessed Dhar’s unwavering commitment throughout the film’s journey.According to Sanjay, a member of the ‘Dhurandhar’ team spoke about how Aditya remained steadfast at every stage of the project, from pre-production to post-production. Sharing the anecdote, he wrote, “Yesterday I met a crew from Dhurandar, who watched Aditya Dhar fight for his vision every day in pre-production, shoot and post. There are no shortcuts. It’s conviction versus ease That’s the difference. Filmmaking doesn’t play ‘SHOOTING-SHOOTING’.”Earlier, in an appearance on ‘InControversial Podcast’, Sanjay opened up about the efforts made to bring ‘Dhurandhar’ back to life. He revealed that Aditya spent nearly four years mounting the ambitious project before it finally went on floors.“It’s very obvious that Aditya Dhar is inspired by the filmmakers of the 80s and 90s. I can clearly see the influences and that style of world building. There’s no doubt that Aditya Dhar is an incredibly intelligent filmmaker. But having said that, he spent four years trying to put this project together.
