The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advance examination city notification for ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) entrance examination 2026. Candidates can log in to the ICAR official exam portal using their application number and password to download. The entrance examination for postgraduate and doctoral programs in agriculture and allied sciences for the academic year 2026-27 will be conducted on July 4, 2026 in computer-based test (CBT) mode. NTA clarified that the city information sheet is only to inform candidates about the city to which their examination center has been allotted. This is not an admission card. Admission tickets will be issued later.
How to Download ICAR 2026 Exam City List
Candidates can download the city information sheet by following the steps below:
- Visit the official meCAR exam website.
- Click on the ‘ICAR PG Advanced City Information’ or ‘ICAR PhD Advanced City Information’ link on the home page.
- Enter application number and password.
- Submit details.
- A city information bar will appear on the screen.
- Download and print out for future reference.
Transcribing details for candidates with disabilities
Besides issuing the city list, NTA has also opened an online portal for PwD/PwBD candidates who are eligible to use scribes during the examination. Eligible candidates can submit their scribe details before June 25, 2026 to June 27, 11:59 pm. After logging into the official ICAR exam website, candidates need to click on the ‘Register Scribe Details’ option on the dashboard, select the appropriate scribe option and submit the required information. Once submitted, details will be reflected in the View Application Form section as well as on the confirmation page.
