Hrithik Roshan married Sussanne Khan in December 2000. In the same year, his debut film was released and he became a superstar. The couple got divorced in 2014. While till now, many reports suggest that Sussanne is getting an alimony of Rs 400 crore. In a recent interview, Sussanne’s brother, jewelry designer Farah Khan Ali clarified their divorce and denied these reports. She clearly stated that Sussanne does not take money and conducts herself in the most beautiful way of all, so she continues to share a good relationship with her ex-husband Hrithik. At the same time, Farah herself is going through a breakup with DJ Aqeel. Recalling the time, he said in an interview with Vickey Lalwani, “In 2012, my issues with Aqeel started. I wanted to tell my parents but in 2012, Sussanne had issues with Hrithik and she beat me to tell my parents. So, I can’t join the bandwagon and say, “me too.” So, I decided to keep quiet and not speak because there was a lot of drama between Sussanne, Hrithik and the whole world at that point. So, I let the whole Sussanne-Hrithik thing go and then I told my parents in 2016. They got divorced in 2014 I think. In 2016, I told my parents. My mom was so cool, she said, ‘Whatever makes you happy.’ But they both said that Aqeel is a nice guy but you are incompatible. My father is unhappy because he is a good man.” When asked how Sanjay and: Zareen Khan: Reacting to Hrithik, Sussanne’s divorce, he said, “Hungama hua’. Everyone was shocked. There was a lot of color and crying. There are many opinions that people have about their personal life but I think they both handled everything beautifully. It was friendly. One thing I want to say on record is that there was never any Rs 400 crore alimony and I feel pain at the bottom of my heart when I see people saying that Rs 400 crore has been paid and Sussanne is very rich. I mean that’s a lie. My dear sister did not take anything. We come from a family and a mother who taught us that materialistic things are not important, relationships are more important. So, my sister didn’t take anything. So now, her relationship with her ex-husband Hrithik and her ex-in-laws, Pinkie and Rakesh Roshan amazing They loved him. I think he conducts himself in a very sophisticated way. He is not a gold-digger. He is very elegant. He is from a Khandani family. He is elegant and Hrithik is also a wonderful person. It’s not right and it’s completely wrong.” He added, “I told her, why don’t you deny all this. She said, ‘I don’t care what people think of me Farah’. I think we all like that. I will do whatever I want to do. Unless you give value to my life, what I do is not important to you and what you think of me, is not important to me.” Farah was even asked if Hrithik was really ready to marry Sussanne at that time because she was a superstar. He said, “They were madly in love. They wanted to get married. I think his parents wanted him to wait a little bit before getting married because he was a superstar at the time. But he is very committed to marriage and wants to get married at that point.” Now, years after the divorce, Sussanne is now in a relationship with: Arslan Goni while Hrithik Roshan is in a relationship with: Saba Azad. “It’s important to be happy in life if you want to be the best version of yourself. Be with people who make you happy. And Arslan is a wonderful person, he keeps her very happy. They see each other, compatibility with each other, they have the same interests.
