About John Farnham:
In a report by The Herald Sun in May of this year, Farnham confirmed that after recovering from oral cancer, he can no longer sing. The artist revealed that he will no longer perform, and is focusing on his health. “We can rule that out, because of the surgeries I’ve had on my mouth and face in the last few years, singing on stage is not something I would ever consider again.” The singer left music in 2022, following his cancer diagnosis, and has been out of the public eye since then.Apart from this, there is also a planned tribute concert for the Australian singer in the coming months. Artists such as Celine Dion, Hugh Jackman, Richard Marx, Jimmy Barnes and Keith Urban, along with many others, will perform at the event and honor the singer. The concert was titled ‘The Songs of John Farnham. A Living Legend.’ Proceeds from the concert will be donated to Head and Neck Cancer Australia, the same organization that helped Farnham in his battle with cancer.
