Chandrachur Singh found himself at the center of an unexpected moment during a demolition drive in DLF area of Gurugram when he came out of his house to talk to officials after a bulldozer destroyed the ramp outside his house. A video of the conversation has since gone viral, with many people praising how calm and respectful it was. The drive was conducted by the Town and Country Planning Department on Friday to remove illegal constructions in the area. Several structures were demolished for violating building norms, including the ramp outside Singh’s house.

According to Dainik Bhaskar, the anti-encroachment drive targeted unauthorized structures across the DLF neighborhood, with officials saying the ramp outside the actor’s house was built without obtaining the necessary approvals.

As the demolition continued, the actor came out to speak to officials at the site. He asked if there was any action to be taken inside his house and mentioned that his father bought the property back in 1991. He also asked about the removal of the ramp, although he remained composed and polite throughout. Singh went on to ask whether the demolition process was officially recorded and sought the name of the officer in charge of the operation. District Town Planner Amit Madhaulia introduced himself, after which Singh shook hands with him and the rest of the group, bringing the interaction to an amicable end.
