New Delhi: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi India’s most-anticipated cricketer made his debut on Saturday as the 15-year-old became the last cricketer to represent India at an international level. The left-handed batsman was included in India’s playing XI for the second T20I match against England at Old Trafford in Manchester. At the age of 15 years and 99 days, he broke Sachin Tendulkar’s previous world record of 16 years and 205 days. He also surpassed Piyush Chawla, who made his Test debut at the age of 17 years and 75 days.
