PEOPLE reported that the veteran legend performed the song for the newlyweds at their wedding at Madison Square Garden. The report also revealed that fellow veteran star Stevie Nicks also performed at the wedding and gave her blessings to the couple. A statement read, “After the ceremony, Taylor’s mother Andrea invited everyone to the reception room where the stage was set.”Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift have been vocal about their love and admiration for each other, and even appeared in a Rolling Stone photoshoot together as well. While talking to BBC Radio recently, the veteran singer was asked about the kind of advice he would like to give to Swift, who is considered one of the most popular artists in the world today.He commented that, “You see the parallel, you know the fame and the amount of fame. The worldwide fame that Taylor Swift has and that we have, but I don’t think she needs any advice to tell you the truth.” He also shared that if he needed any advice, he would be happy to oblige. “I’m like the older brother to that generation, or more like the grandfather, actually,” concluded McCartney.Not only that, but the veteran singer also attended Taylor Swift’s tour shows in 2024, while she was on her ‘ERAS’ tour. The singer was spotted in the crowd singing the music at Wembley Stadium in London at the time.
