Arshdeep Singh removed Phil Salt and Jos Buttler for ducks in the opener to leave the hosts reeling at 1/2.Captain Brook hit 39 off just 12 balls before Jacob Bethell and Tom Banton rebuilt the innings with a vital partnership. Banton scored 39, while Bethell made an unbeaten 76 off 46 balls, hitting four fours and five fives.India struggled with Arshdeep and Varun Chakaravarthy, but Bethell turned the game in England’s favor by scoring 29 runs off Ravi Bishnoi. He eventually completed the chase with Jofra Archer with six balls to spare.England announced to play an unchanged XI for the third T20I at Trent Bridge.
