Aditya shared some never-before-seen behind-the-scenes pictures from ‘Dhurandhar’ on Instagram and called Ranveer an “amazing actor” in his post. He started the birthday message by writing, “Happy Birthday, Ranveer Singh. Some films stay with you forever. Dhurandhar will always be one of those films for me. Aditya Dhar recalls iconic scenes with Ranveer Singh
He recalled shooting scenes with Ranveer, and added, “There were days in Dhurandhar when I knew I was witnessing something very special. The 26/11 sequence. Pathankot massacre. The pump house scene. Outside the court. Just to name a few. Take after take, scene after scene, you are never once looking for an easy choice. Every emotion landed exactly where it was supposed to. Every silence has meaning. Every look has a purpose. Every beat is perfect. Consistency is almost impossible to fathom. It really felt like watching someone touched by divine grace. It is as if Maa Saraswati herself has placed her hand on your head and blessed you with every ounce of artistic brilliance she can muster. As a director, there are moments you spend your entire career hoping to experience. You have given me time and time again. I truly believe that what you have done in Dhurandhar is one of the best performances Indian cinema has ever seen. It’s not just a show, it’s a force of nature. There is no fear, it is long and completely lost in the soul of the character.”He concluded, “No doubt people will be talking about this show for years, maybe for generations to come. But what I love more is everything that happened between “Action” and “Cut.” The conversations. The shared conviction. The relentless pursuit of getting every moment right. Somewhere along the way, you stopped being an artist. You have become my brother. Thank you for trusting me with your heart, your skills and your craziness. Thank you for giving Dhurandhar every part of yourself. I couldn’t be prouder of what we did together. Love you always. Happy Birthday, brother.”
