Ayushmann Khurrana will headline the genre-defying film Mupapa, directed by Sameer Saxena, releasing on February 19, 2027, backed by Akshaye Widhani’s second production. Ayushmann was last seen in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’, which made Rs 57-60 crore, earned Rs 40.28 crore worldwide in one week, following the success of the original in 2019.

The story, mostly set in Prayagraj, centers on Prajapati Pandey, played by Ayushmann, a forest officer who leads a settled life with his wife Aparna, an investigative journalist portrayed by Wamiqa Gabbi, the two share what appears to be a stable, happy marriage.
