As: Taylor Swift and: Travis Kelce prepare for their ‘happily ever after’ after their dream wedding at Madison Square Garden, attention has now shifted to one of the most high-profile prenuptial agreements in recent celebrity history. Before the couple got married, various news reports said that the couple faced a big prenuptial hurdle due to their high net worth, assets, and various financial deals, related to their careers.According to the Daily Mail, Taylor and Travis are believed to have signed an extensive 40-page prenuptial agreement before tying the knot in front of their 1,000 guests. The publication suggests that due to the size of their combined wealth, the document will be extensive, and cover various fields. While neither Swift nor Kelce confirmed the existence of the document or the terms of a prenup, a Manhattan-based divorce attorney, Jacqueline Newman, offered her professional opinion on how to make such an agreement. “I think the prenup can really be a simple document – what’s hers now will be hers and what’s hers will be hers,” Newman told the Daily Mail. The lawyer, who specializes in high-net-worth divorces and matrimonial negotiations, suggests that assets acquired before the marriage are likely to remain separate, while the joint purchase of assets using joint names, such as a house, “both will recover what they put in and any appreciation,” he explained.According to the report, one of the unusual provisions that will reportedly be included is a ‘privacy clause’. The report suggested that such a clause could prevent either party from publicly discussing aspects of the relationship after the split, with speculation centering on Swift’s songwriting and history of drawing inspiration from personal experiences. However, Newman emphasized that the couple’s future earnings will likely remain separate, “Unless they decide to do something together in some capacity.”The report also listed the huge difference between the individual wealth of the couple. Swift, who entered the billionaire’s club after the success of The Eras Tour, is widely considered one of the richest musicians in the world. His business empire includes music, film, publishing rights and real estate. His property portfolio includes multi-million dollar residences in New York, Rhode Island, California and Tennessee. He also owns a USD 55 million Dassault Falcon 7X private jet. The Daily Mail says his music catalog has generated over USD 250 million including streaming revenue, in addition to revenues from touring, merchandising and film projects, including over USD 100 million in film deals.Kelce, on the other hand, has built a successful career both on and off the football field.
