The story and VFX received criticism
Some audience members felt that the central idea of the film had potential but did not translate effectively on screen.A review posted by X said, “#NagaBandham Review : Trying to show the greatness of Hindu Dharma and the struggles faced by Hindus in the past is a good idea. But many films fail to present it well. Naga Bandham is another example of that. Technically, the film is decent in some parts (about 30%). However, the story is weak and does not interest me. There are too many fight scenes, the VFX is weak in many places, and there are very few “wow” moments. Most importantly, the film does not do justice to its title, Naga Bandham. ‘Nagabandham’ opened to Rs 3.25 crore on day 1
‘Nagabandham. The Secret Treasure has completed its first day at the box office. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 3.25 crore in India net collection on its opening day. The income comes from 3,202 shows across the country and recorded a total occupancy of 22%.
