Ram Charan and: Janhvi Kapoor The starrer ‘Peddi’ directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is a blockbuster after its theatrical release on June 4. With the completion of its film on the big screens, its streaming platform has announced that it will be released in the digital space soon.

‘Peddi’ will start streaming on Netflix giant. The platform took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the film’s poster and wrote, “Aata marocchu kaani, monagadu mathram maradu,” which in English means, “The game may change, but the hero/real person remains the same.”The team also announced that it will start streaming on July 9 and will be available to watch in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. They also teased that the film will release on the same platform in Hindi soon.
Plot of ‘Peddi’
Talking about the film, it tells the story of a cricketer who plays for any team that is willing to pay him. His life changes after meeting Appalasuri, a villager who spends years trying to get a railway stop and official recognition for his village. Using his elite sporting skills, under the guidance of his Pehelwaani mentor Gournaidu, he grew from a player who only wanted money to a dedicated sportsman who was willing to make sacrifices for others.

Apart from the lead pair, the film also has Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan, Viji Chandrasekhar, Rajatava Dutta, Satya, John Vijay, Ajay Ghosh and others in important roles.The film has been running in theaters for over a month and has seen a worldwide collection of Rs 338.98 crore according to trade analyst Sacnilk. In India it saw Rs 242.03Cr in net collections in 120,447 shows.On the work front, Ram Charan will next work with Sukumar in an upcoming film tentatively titled ‘RC17’. Meanwhile Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her next project, ‘Lag Jaa Gale’.
