The production team, led by director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra, is said to be actively exploring the possibility of hosting a grand premiere in the UAE. Earlier this year, the proposal was reportedly stalled due to geopolitical tensions across West Asia.However, with the situation believed to be improving after the recent diplomatic developments between the United States and Iran, the makers have also started talks about bringing ‘Ramayana’ to Dubai for a rare launch.Internally, the event is reportedly being called the “Desert Premiere,” with October 28 now considered a tentative date.

Preparations for the proposed event have reportedly begun, with several venues across Dubai being scouted for the high-profile premiere.If the plans go ahead, the event is expected to bring together the main cast of the film, including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, who are likely to attend the celebration along with the filmmakers.A source told Mid-Day, “In April, the idea was shelved because the timing was not good. Now that the situation has calmed down, the team is again exploring the possibility of bringing ‘Ramayana’ to Dubai. The city has always been the chosen choice because of its ability to host major events and the Indian diaspora.
A star-studded retelling of the epic
Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ boasts of one of the largest ensemble cast ever assembled for an Indian film. Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi will play the role of Sita. Kannada superstar Yash will play the role of Ravana, and Sunny Deol will be seen playing Lord Hanuman.
