Farah Khan visited Murali Sharma-Ashwini Kalsekar’s home in Mumbai for her cooking vlog, recalling a Main Hoon Naa harness accident that made Shah Rukh Khan laugh. The couple shared their love, showing off their white house, mandir floor, and kitchen, before enjoying baingan chutney and lunch with Farah.

Farah Khan and his cook Dilip went to Mumbai at the actor couple’s house Murali Sharma and: Ashwini Kalsekar in their latest YouTube cooking vlog episode. The duo welcomed Farah with a big smile and prepared delicious baingan pachdi for the occasion. During the visit, Farah, the filmmaker behind ‘Main Hoon Naa’, reminisced about filming with Murali, who played Khan in the movie. Recalling their time filming the 2004 hit, Murali said, “I had to fly up to the first floor.” Farah said, “At that time, the quality of the harness was not very good and people did not know how to use it properly. He just had to get out of the car and Murali was hanging on the door. Murali and door both flew.”He continued, “These people were laughing. It was my first time on a rope. When Shah Rukh sir came, he was shown the entire shot. He was rolling on the floor laughing.” His wife Ashwini laughed out loud and said, “Even if you see that shot now, he has really scared expressions.”

The conversation then moved to the living room, where the actor couple shared the story of how their romance with Farah began. Murali and Ashwini got married in 2009, having first crossed paths on the sets of the 2005 film ‘Apaharan’. Adding hilarity to the vlog, Farah’s cook Dilip appeared dressed as Vasooli Bhai, the memorable character played by Mukesh Tiwari in the ‘Golmaal’ series.

Murali and Ashwini’s home in Mumbai is spacious and follows a white theme throughout. From the walls and ceiling to the curtains, every element carries muted tones, complemented by the brown sofas. Their love for books is also evident, with an entire shelf in one room dedicated to a large collection. Touring the same space, Ashwini pointed to her makeup corner, mentioning that she handles her own makeup for film roles. “Artists should be like him. People pay Rs 1 lakh to makeup artists. Learn something, we can save a lot of money,” Farah said.

Ashwini also showed off the floor near her mandir, which she designed herself using real flowers. At the end of the vlog, the couple took Farah to their bedroom and kitchen. The kitchen, too, has an airy feel, with white finished cabinets and countertops. When the Andhra-style Baingan chutney was ready, Farah presented the couple with gifts, and then the group sat down to have lunch together.
