In a recent interview, Singh reflected on the patience and conviction behind his choices, saying that he always waits for the right script instead of staying busy.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Mona Singh reflected on the journey that brought her here, believing in staying patient and waiting for meaningful opportunities instead of accepting projects just to stay visible. Reflecting on her career, Mona said she did not allow setbacks to shake her belief in herself, adding that perseverance was central to her journey.Singh said, “I never thought in my life that it wouldn’t happen. Nothing is impossible. If I had just given up, I wouldn’t be standing in front of you today, honestly. I just kept going, I stayed steady, I kept waiting, not for the next script but for the right script. I think all my releases look very different.
Mona Singh explains what ‘right script’ means
The ‘Ba***ds of Bollywood’ actress also shared the parameters that guide her script choices, revealing that she actively looks for roles that challenge her as an actor and a woman.Explaining her thought process, Mona said, “Something I have never done before as an actor, as a woman. I expect myself to face challenges that I have never done before. I don’t want a woman to remain only as a moral compass… or just be a good girl next door… or a good mother. Is he driving the script? Does he continue the narration? His ambitions and his resilience are celebrated in the script? That’s what I’m looking for.“
