New Delhi: Australia bats Travis Head has spoken publicly for the first time about the controversy Virat Kohli in the IPL 2026 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The incident gained attention after cameras appeared to show RCB star Kohli skipping a handshake with the SRH skipper after the match, leading to speculation about the rift between the two players.However, Mr Head has denied the rumours, saying there is no problem to solve.“I don’t think there is anything to change. Head admitted that the online comeback was difficult, especially for his family, although he believes that kind of attention is part of being a professional athlete.“I think that Jessica and I have a good attitude about things. That’s the world we live in, and I think it’s amazing how they do things of this kind. It was more that things in the family are built around, going to other members of the family who don’t particularly see things of this kind,” he said.Head also praised his wife for staying calm throughout the process, adding, “Everybody forgets about it in a few days. She handled it very well.
