The Maharashtra State Board conducted a supplementary inspection soon after the main board results were announced.The SSC supplementary examination will be held from June 16 to June 30, 2026, and the HSC supplementary examination will be held from June 16 to July 8, 2026.These exams are conducted to help students improve their academic performance without having to wait for the next annual exam cycle.
2026 main examination results
The pass percentage in the regular examinations conducted by the Maharashtra State Board earlier this year was high. In the SSC (Class 10) examination, the pass rate was 92.09%. The total number of students who appeared for the exam was 15,42,472, out of which 14,20,486 passed. The passing rate of girls in the exam was 94.96%, while boys scored 89.56%.The pass rate for the HSC (Level 12) exam is 89.79%. A total of 14,44,713 candidates registered for the examination and 1,433,058 candidates appeared for the examination. In terms of gender, the passing rate for girls was 93.15%, and the passing rate for boys was 86.80%. Girls’ scores were better than boys’.Among them, science subjects have the highest passing rate, reaching 96.44%, followed by business subjects, reaching 87.03%, and liberal arts subjects, reaching 78.02%.Students who are awaiting supplementary results have been instructed to continue visiting the website from 1 pm for any updates.
