Speaking to AfroTech, Kevin Boseman said the idea for Boseman Family LLC was inspired by Chadwick Boseman’s own production company and the growing interest in projects celebrating his life and work.“What inspired it, of course, Chad has his own company, and there are some offers that are there to do the work that he is inspired by, and we feel the best way to solve the business, to partner with other businesses, is to start a business,” said Kevin.Derrick Boseman revealed that the family spent time before deciding who would work.“I always ask God to put people in my path that will move me, or us, in the direction he wants us to go,” he said, adding that after turning down many proposals over the years, they finally met two women who became the company’s management team and helped shape its vision.
