For the past two years, the Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan is quite open about his love for all kinds of sports. Not only that, but he also shares his thoughts on things candidly on his blog. In one of his latest online posts, Bachchan spoke about the FIFA World Cup matches, specifically Argentina’s substitution against England, and how it was all about the coaches.

Taking to his online blog, the famous actor opened up about how FIFA works and how all the victories are in the hands of the coaches of the teams. He wrote, “When you come to the final stage of the Championships and there are 4 teams left to compete with each other.. it is difficult to make predictions….. predictions follow your passion and follow your favorite…. but the truth seems to me that at this stage we are dealing with 44 players.. semi final to final .. 11 per team …. and every player in this stage of the competition is a SUPER STAR!!”He further emphasized the importance of how it all depends on how the players are managed on the field by their coaches, even though all the players lined up for victory are “superstars”. He added in his post, “You can’t change their position as a player.. BUT.. what is needed is how they are managed… and this is where the Coach, Manager comes in.. so for the FINAL on Sunday early morning IST 12:30 am, it will be a competition between the Spanish Coach and the Argentinian Coach...how they plan the game will decide…they plan ..players have to execute.”He ended his post by adding, “The other will see and plan accordingly… the most interesting situation… in the last 3 minutes of the Eng v Argentina game the Arg coach replaced a player who was a Striker… in the attack..Big B has been very candid about his thoughts on FIFA in the past few days. A few days ago, he uploaded another blog about big matches, specifically addressing the “unfair decisions” that took place at the FIFA World Cup 2026.He commented at the time that, “The timelines and the idea of time are wrong .. the reason is of course WC 2026 .. the viewing times are strange and make our days worse .. but we see that we are rejoicing that we have regrets .. this is the WC challenge Most of the famous and well-known countries in Football have a great regret, lost.. that’s strange .. but happy with the fact that what we don’t think is fighting and getting recognition. They keep saying ‘may the best team win’.. but we never know who the best team is until the results come out.”
