During the event, the famous actress, who made her Bollywood debut earlier this year with ‘Ek Din’, talked about her portrayal of Mata Sita in the upcoming film, sharing that she meditated to prepare for the role. He shared that, “It’s not easy for actors to get roles like this. Because it’s not easy to play a Goddess. There has to be a team that puts their heart and soul into making it the best version.”She added that she felt like she was “chosen” to play the role, sharing that, “I don’t think I was chosen to play Sita maa. I am blessed to play this role. It’s not something you can follow and it’s not something you can write and say, it’s what I want to play. I sit and meditate and say, Sita maa, you act through me. Whatever comes through me is what you want for the film.”He also commented on how he keeps himself ‘pure’, commenting “I’ve always kept myself as pure as possible, at least in my thoughts, to keep it neutral. So I have the best version of myself presenting out there.”

I saw Ram in Ranbir’s eyes and Sita in Sai’s eyes. I felt the kind of sincerity, I was searching, I only found these beautiful souls.
