Diljit Dosanjh-starrer ‘Satluj’ has hit piracy platforms just hours after it was pulled from streaming platform ZEE5 India.The biographical drama, based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, was pulled hours after its OTT release in India ‘until further notice’, prompting outrage among fans. Shortly after the streaming platform made the official announcement about removing the film from its site, fans took to social media to share that pirated versions of the film have become available online for illegal downloading and streaming.

Many users took to their social media handles to share screenshots of the film which is now available in various HD formats on various pirated websites. Some have even resorted to actively sharing the link to pirated versions of the film, encouraging fans to watch the film.

Before its removal, Dilji, in a live chat with fans, was asked about the possibility of his film being removed after the streaming release. In the same reaction, the actor denied it by saying, “Hun tension nai, sab ne kar layi download,” before adding, “Main tension free baitha.”The actor also stated that he is not worried about the possible leaking of the film on pirated websites. “Now it’s Saturday. I feel it might be down on Monday. But don’t worry, you’ve downloaded it,” Diljit said in a video chat with fans.
‘Satluj’ is taken from the OTT platform
Announcing the removal of the film from their streaming site, ZEE5 said, “Due to current developments, Satluj will no longer be available in India until further notice. We remain committed to exploring every appropriate avenue through due process to bring the film back to our viewers at the earliest.”Directed by Honey Trehan, ‘Satluj’ also stars Arjun Rampal, Kanwaljit Singh, Suvinder Vicky and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan.
