The Haryana State Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will close the online application process for Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group D recruitment today (July 5, 2026). Eligible candidates who are yet to complete the registration process can submit their applications through the One-Time Registration (OTR) portal before the deadline. Recruitment drive for Group D posts in various government departments of Haryana is ongoing as per Advertisement No. 05/2026.HSSC released the Group D CET notification on June 18, 2026, while the online application window opened on June 19, 2026. The last date to submit applications was later extended to July 5, 2026. The commission said there are about 8,000 vacancies during the recruitment process. CET is the qualifying test for appointment to Group D posts in the state.Recruitment details and qualificationsThis recruitment is open to candidates who have passed Class 10 exam. Applicants must be between 18 and 42 years old, with July 6, 2026 as the deadline for determining age eligibility. The age relaxation will be done as per government regulations.Recruitment will be on a Haryana basis and selection will be conducted through CET process. The exam date will be announced separately by the organizing committee.Application Fee and Selection ProcessThe application fee for general, OBC and EWS candidates is Rs 500, while applicants for SC, ST and PH/PWD categories have to pay Rs 250. Fees can be paid through online mode. Although the application window closes today, candidates can deposit the application fee until July 8, 2026.The selection process includes HSSC CET Group D written test, document verification and medical examination. The committee also eliminated previous additional marking regulations based on socio-economic criteria. Now, the selection will depend only on the CET score of the candidate.Application process and correction windowCandidates need to visit the HSSC official website, complete the OTR process (if not registered yet), fill the CET Group D application form, upload the necessary documents, pay the stipulated fees and submit the application online. A printout of the submitted form should be retained for future reference.Once the application process is over, HSSC will allow applicants to edit the submitted form between July 9 and July 11, 2026, before announcing the examination schedule.
