PNB LBO Recruitment 2026: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has invited online applications for the recruitment of 545 Local Banking Officer (LBO) posts under Junior Management Grade I (JMGS-I). The recruitment drive is ongoing in multiple states and applications will be accepted through the bank’s official website from July 20, 2026 to August 9, 2026.Candidates applying for this position must hold a graduation degree, have at least one year of banking experience and be proficient in the local language of the state in which they seek appointment. Selected candidates will be posted only in the states to which they applied. The salary range for this position is €48,480 to €85,920.Eligibility criteria and age limitsApplicants must be between 20 and 30 years old as of July 1, 2026. The age can be relaxed as per the regulations of the Government of India. SC and ST candidates are eligible for relaxation of five years, OBC (NCL) candidates are eligible for relaxation of three years, PwBD candidates are eligible for relaxation of 10 years, ex-servicemen are eligible for relaxation of five years and those affected by 1984 riots are eligible for relaxation of five years.The recruitment has announced vacancies in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, taking the total number of posts to 545.• Direct link to apply online for PNB LBO recruitment 2026• Direct link to view and download PNB LBO Recruitment Notification 2026Selection process and exam patternThe selection process includes an online written test, document screening, Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT), personal interview, final transcript and document verification.The online exam has a total of 150 questions, with a full score of 150 points, and a total exam time of 180 minutes. The paper will include Reasoning and Computer Ability, Data Analysis and Interpretation, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General, Economic and Banking Awareness. 0.25 points will be deducted for each incorrect answer.Application fees and submission processThe application fee for SC, ST and PwBD candidates has been fixed at Rs 59 (inclusive of GST), while general, OBC and EWS candidates have to pay Rs 1,180 (inclusive of GST).To apply, candidates need to register with a valid email address and mobile number, fill in the online application form, upload the required documents, photos and signatures, pay the stipulated fees online and submit the application. A copy of the final submission form should be downloaded and retained for future reference.
