Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will organize a two-day mega placement event on July 27 and 28 on campus to provide students and graduates an opportunity to apply for over 350 jobs in different industries. The recruitment event will bring together leading companies in banking, insurance, aviation, artificial intelligence, marketing and data analytics.The placement event will be held from 10 am on both days at the Dr BR Ambedkar Convention Center at IGNOU Headquarters, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi. The event is organized by the university’s Campus Careers Cell (CPC) and aims to help learners connect with employers and explore career opportunities.
Who can apply?
The placement exercise is open to IGNOU students, alumni, fresh graduates and final semester students. Candidates from different educational backgrounds can apply, depending on the eligibility criteria set by the participating companies.
Company and job role
Many well-known companies will participate in this recruitment activity. Axis Bank will hire approximately 200 candidates for Office Sales (OS-1) positions. This position is open to graduates and final semester students aged 21 to 28 years. The annual salary offered is Rs 2.30 lakh, along with performance-based incentives of up to Rs 60,000.Bajaj Life Insurance will recruit at least 25 candidates for the posts of Insurance Relationship Manager and Senior Financial Services Manager. The company offers annual salary packages of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh along with incentives. Bajaj Capital Insurance Broking will also recruit candidates for telesales and branch sales positions with a monthly salary of approximately Rs 25,000. 0search0In addition to this, the company will offer jobs in customer support, supply chain management, artificial intelligence, marketing, UI/UX design, and data analytics.
