Skoda Auto India today announced the introduction of two new colors to the Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo edition. Skoda will produce only 200 units of the Slavia Monte Carlo in the newly introduced color options. Despite the exclusive paint finishes, the prices remain unchanged from Rs 16.69 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested customers can reserve the vehicle by visiting their nearest dealership or online; Shipments are expected to begin soon. Two new colors are Shimla Green and Steel Gray two-tone paint schemes for the Slavia Monte Carlo, drawing inspiration from its Rallye Monte Carlo legacy. The sedan also comes with gloss black exterior details and 16-inch black alloy wheels, while the cabin adopts a black theme complemented by red lights. Apart from the addition of new exterior color options, no changes have been made to the Slavia Monte Carlo.
The sedan gets two engine options – a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol with 115 hp of power and 178 nm of torque and comes paired with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed automatic torque converter. Another engine is the 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engine that puts out 150 hp of power and 250 nm of torque and comes paired only with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. In terms of features, it gets a 10-inch touchscreen with integrated navigation, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Skoda Play applications, an 8-inch digital driver display, ambient lighting, a subwoofer with 8 speakers – 200 W, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a refreshed glove box, cruise control, front charging seats and more wireless. In terms of safety, it gets six airbags, ABS with ESC and EBD, traction control, three-point seat belts for five occupants, tire pressure monitor, ISOFIX anchors, rear parking sensors and more.
