Actors: Gurfateh Pirzada, Pratibha Rantaand Akasa Singh gave their support to the students by participating in the ongoing protests. They took to social media to share photos and videos from the demonstration, encouraging others to raise their voices on the issue as well. Gurfateh went a step further, urging people to discuss the protest with the same enthusiasm as they would for the plot of ‘Dhurandhar 3’.
Gurfateh’s message on Delhi protests
As students took to the streets of New Delhi in protest on Monday, Gurfateh took to Instagram to express his support, writing, “Jaago desh, jaago. Ek baar phir kranti aayi hai. (Indian flag and fist emojis).” (Wake up, nation, wake up. Once again, the revolution is here.) He also used his stories to augment posts from the protest, pointing out that the movement has grown beyond the Cockroach Janata Party or Sonam Wangchuk.

In his Instagram stories, he explained his stance, writing, “Honestly there is only one right wing. And you need to talk about it like Dhurandhar 3.” On Monday, he also shared photos and videos of people gathering at Shivaji Park, Mumbai, for the protest. A picture shows that Pratibha Ranta and singer Akasa Singh were also present at the demonstration.

Along with her posts, she wrote, “Ab nahi toh kab! (If not now, when!) Break the silence. Walk. Protests entered a second day in Mumbai and other cities
