Veteran actor MammoottyThe fourth National Film Award for Best Actor was followed by many congratulatory messages from fans and artists as well. Among the many tributes shared online, was a heartfelt post by his personal PRO Robert: Kuriakose is winning over the internet for all the right reasons.Robert recounts a memorable meeting between Mammootty and his two young sons, aged six and eleven. Sharing an emotional memory, she wrote, “They liked that guy not because of me, but because of watching movies. The last time I went, they both wanted to sign autographs. One held out his wrist..the other also the collar of his shirt. When he asked if it wouldn’t fade…” the man who signed the shirt replied, “I won’t wash it again.” one says inwardly, ‘He signed it with his mind, not with his hand, and therefore it cannot be erased.’.’ said the older brother while handing out chocolates with his signature. “We’re not going to eat it, it’s going to be framed…”(“It’s not because of me that they admire him. They fell in love with the man by watching his movies. When we met him recently, they both wanted his autograph. One held out his arm, while the other offered the collar of his shirt. When he asked, ‘Won’t it go away?’ the boy who chose the shirt would never answer, ‘Some would probably never answer,’ the other would answer, ‘Some may not answer.’ not in my hand—in my heart. That will never go away.’ When he handed them the chocolates with the autographs, the elder said, ‘We won’t eat them. Mammootty won the prestigious Best Actor award at the 72nd National Film Awards for his performance in the horror film ‘Bramayugam’.
