Good news for the fans of the romantic hit ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ as the lead pair Allu Arjun and: Pooja Hegde maybe work together again for another movie. Allu Arjun is very much looking forward to the collaboration with the director Lokesh Kanagarajtitled ‘AA23’ (LK07), continues to make headlines.Latest reports suggest that Pooja Hegde is being considered to play the female lead in the action entertainer. While the makers are yet to make an official announcement, reports from the Telugu 30 website indicate that talks with the actress are currently underway.
The ‘DJ’ pair may reunite
The actors previously shared screen space in ‘DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ and both the films emerged as huge box-office successes. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, ‘AA23’ is expected to be mounted on a grand scale. The film is reportedly being developed as a stylized action entertainer with an international backdrop. The project will also mark Allu Arjun’s first collaboration with composer Anirudh Ravichander and the background score of the first released teaser look has already gone viral on social media.
Pooja Hegde’s association is with Lokesh Kanagaraj
Although ‘AA23’ may mark Pooja Hegde’s first full collaboration with ‘Kaithi’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj, Hegde made a special appearance on the song “Monica” from ‘Coolie’. Hegde made a special appearance in the song “Monica” from “Coolie” and even though the Rajinikanth starrer received mixed reviews, the song was trending.
Busy line-up for the two lead stars
Both Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde have several projects in development. Allu Arjun is also working on ‘Raaka,’ directed by Atlee who recently delivered the all-time blockbuster ‘Jawan’, starring SRK in the lead.Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde has an equally busy schedule. She will next be seen with Thalapathy Vijay in ‘Jana Nayagan’. The actress also has ‘Kanchana 4’ and Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘Sri Sri’ in her upcoming slate.
