Joe Root back to the top 10 after an impressive streak in which he remained undefeated.Root, who was named Player of the Series, produced unbeaten scores of 76, 99 and 74 to set up England’s first ODI win over India since 2018. His consistency has moved him up four places to eighth in the ICC rankings, marking his first return to the top 10 since 2020.England first Ben Duckett he made the most of it after smashing his record 141 in the third ODI at Lord’s. The left-hander jumped 11 places to 19, his match-winning knock becoming the highest score in Men’s ODIs at the iconic venue, according to an ICC media release.
