While acknowledging that the makers were inspired by two scenes from Bhagavanth Kesari, he clarified that Jana Nayagan is not a scene-by-scene recreation but instead presents an original storyline with a completely different narrative structure and conflict. The producer expressed confidence that the emotional impact of the film will attract the audience.
