The sacrifice of a brother that changed everything

Ashok’s story is one of perseverance and dedication to family. Growing up in Rampura, a small village near Jaipur, he loved cricket with his elder brother, Akshay Sharma, who also played the game. However, financial problems made it impossible for the family to support all the sons in playing cricket.Akshay made the difficult decision to give up his passions so that Ashok could attend the Under-16 trials. That selflessness changed Ashok’s career.A few years later, the youngster who once struggled to find opportunities has now become India’s new fast-paced prospect.
