India will participate in five sports on Saturday, July 25, at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, with basketball 3×3 wheelchair joining boxing, bowls, swimming and gymnastics in the day’s event.It is expected to be a quiet day for India in terms of medal chances, with no confirmed medal events involving Indian athletes unless they reach the finals in gymnastics and swimming.Boxer Sachin Siwach will be India’s only boxer in action. He begins his campaign in the men’s 60kg category after several Indian players received byes in the first round.In the bowls, defending four women’s gold medallists, Rupa Rani Tirkey and Pinki Singh, will return to the women’s doubles event, while Putul Sonowal will compete in the men’s doubles after winning the opening day.India’s women’s gymnastics team of Pranati Nayak, Nishka Agarwal, Eshita Rewale and Protistha Samanta will compete in the team competition and qualifiers after the men’s team failed to perform well in the event.India schedule for Saturday, July 25

- 4:19 PM – Swimming: Dhakshan Shashikumar in men’s 400m freestyle heats. (End at 11:30 PM if eligible.)
