ETimes verdict on ‘Jana Nayagan’
ETimes, in its ‘Jana Nayagan’ review, wrote, “By the time we reach the climax, we are in an over-the-top realm of remote controlled warfare and social media-amplified hate campaigns happening overnight in an unbelievable manner. But Vijay holds everything. The earnestness of his performance and the politically charged lines (“50 varushama arasiyal pannitirukara kudumbam”, “Motha Tamizhachigaloda aaseervaadhamum ennikum unga kooda irukkum”) kind of make us interested. And Anirudh does his part by adding punch to the scenes. But as a farewell vehicle to one of Tamil cinema’s greatest entertainers, Jana Nayagan deserves to be better.“DISCLAIMER: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
