9 years ago, KARD made history by debuting as one of the few groups with a co-ed system. Now, after being together for a long time, the group confirmed that they will soon split up after completing some activities for fans. The news came as a shock to fans who were waiting for the group’s comeback.

The KARD expires after 9 years

The K-Pop group announced through their management agency that they will break up after completing the promotion of their first full-length album and a world tour. The group is already in the middle of the tour, so the news comes as a big shock to many fans who are looking forward to the group’s future activities.Their management agency took to their social media channels to share the announcement with the world. The official statement read: “After careful and thoughtful discussions with all four members, we have agreed that this album and tour will mark the end of KARD’s journey as a group. We kindly ask for your continued love and support until the end as KARD shares with you a final chapter in a way that only they can.”

KARD to release their first full length album

The group also announced that they will be promoting and releasing their first and last full-length album. The title was set appropriately for their last comeback ‘Where To Now? (Part. 2). NO MORE’. According to the teasers shared on their social media channels, the album is set to be released on July 28 at 6pm KST on various global streaming platforms around the world.KARD debuted in 2017 and released 8 mini EPs throughout their career. Their debut came with ‘Hola Hola’, followed by ‘You & Me’ (2017), ‘Ride On The Wind’ (2018), ‘Red Moon’ (2020), ‘Re:’ (2022), ‘Icky’ (2023), ‘Where To Now? (Part. 1: Yellow Light) (2024), and finally ‘Drift’ (2025).

The group is currently on their ‘DRIFT’ world tour covering three continents. Next they will start their tour in Tokyo, followed by the European leg in Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, and Bulgaria. Finally, they have a final goodbye stage in Jakarta and other performances in the Asian continent.
