Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai after the actor-politician underwent surgery on his right shoulder.Chandrababu Naidu met Pawan Kalyan, his wife Anna Konidala, and the team of doctors handling his treatment. The Prime Minister inquired about his health and received an update on his recovery after surgery. Ministers Narayana and Anagani Satya Prasad accompanied him to visit the hospital.After meeting Pawan Kalyan, Naidu shared a message on social media wishing him a speedy recovery. He wrote, “I visited Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan, who is undergoing treatment in Mumbai today. I wish him a speedy recovery. @PawanKalyan.”
The doctors said the operation was successful
As reported by TOI City, the medical team confirmed that the surgery was completed successfully and Pawan Kalyan is recovering well. Doctors confirmed that his condition remains stable and that he is responding positively to treatment.Talking to the media after the visit, Chandrababu Naidu said that the operation took about three and a half hours and was performed by a team of specialist doctors.He further advised Pawan Kalyan to take enough rest before gradually returning to his official responsibilities. As part of the recovery process, doctors recommend about three weeks of physiotherapy.Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the Deputy Chief Minister will return to work after completing his rehabilitation programme.
Doctors are monitoring the condition of the left shoulder
Apart from the right shoulder surgery, the doctors also identified the issue in Pawan Kalyan’s left shoulder.However, the medical team decided not to proceed with immediate treatment. Instead, they will reassess the condition after six months before deciding whether surgery or physiotherapy alone is sufficient.Chandrababu Naidu also revealed that Pawan Kalyan has been living with injuries on both shoulders for several years.
Pawan Kalyan is eager to get back to work
Although doctors have advised him to focus on recovery, Pawan Kalyan reportedly wants to resume his responsibilities as soon as possible.Chandrababu Naidu said the Deputy Chief Minister has expressed his desire to return to public life at the earliest though has been instructed to prioritize rest and rehabilitation.
