The Directorate of Higher Education, Kerala (DHSE) is expected to release the Kerala Plus Two SAY (Save a Year)/Improvement Result 2026 soon. Once the result link is activated, students appearing for supplementary examinations conducted by DHSE will be able to access provisional scorecards through the official results portal.SAY/Improvement exams are held for students who want to improve their grades or continue their academic progress in subjects where they are clearly failing. The theoretical examination will be held from June 29 to July 3, 2026, and the practical examination will be held from June 11 to June 12, 2026.How to view results after publishingStudents can check their provisional results by selecting the HSE SAY/Improved Exam Result 2026 link through the Kerala HSE Result Portal. They need to enter their registration number and date of birth to access the scorecard. After submitting the details, students can view and download their provisional mark memo.The result link is also available through KITE Kerala Results and Kerala Results NIC portal. Students who are having difficulty accessing the website due to heavy traffic can use the official PRD LIVE and Saphalam mobile applications. The revised scorecard will also be available through DigiLocker. Final paper transcripts will be released by each school.Kerala Plus Time Table for Two SAY Examination CyclesThe regular Kerala Plus Two board examination will be conducted from March 6 to March 28, 2026, and the results will be declared on May 26, 2026. Students can register to take the SAY/Improvement exam from June 1 to June 3, 2026. Hall tickets for the supplementary examination will be released on June 26, 2026.Board Exam Performance DetailsA total of 4,52,437 students appeared for the Plus Two board exams in March 2026 across Kerala. The overall pass rate was 77.97%, a slight increase from the previous year’s 77.81%. A total of 30,561 students achieved A+ grades in all subjects.Among them, science subjects have the highest passing rate at 84.52%, followed by business subjects at 74.74% and humanities subjects at 66.38%. The failure rate in humanities is over 33%, with the highest proportion of students taking the SAY examination.Stream and region performance dataThe passing rate for girls was 86.89% and the passing rate for boys was 68.41%. Idukki emerged as the district with the highest overall pass percentage, while Kasaragod recorded the lowest overall pass percentage, but the supplementary examination participation rate increased.Passing Criteria for SAY ResultsStudents must obtain at least 30% marks in the individual theory paper to pass the SAY examination. Students with grades below D+ (including grades between 30 and 39) will not meet the eligibility requirements for the Higher Education Entry Pathway.
