Despite Priyadarshan's exit from 'Hera Pheri 3', Suniel Shetty says he is hopeful for it after the success of 'Welcome To The Jungle'.

Despite ‘Hera Pheri 3’ falling into legal hurdles, Suniel Shetty: did not lose hope. The actor believes that the success of ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ will pave the way for the highly anticipated comedy to finally take off. Calling ‘Hera Pheri’ the biggest comedy franchise of his career, Suniel admitted that he hopes the film will finally go on floors and reach audiences, largely because of the immense nostalgia associated with it.Suniel said in an interview with Hindustan Times, “Hera Pheri is the biggest comedy franchise of my career and the nostalgia attached to it is very inspiring. Its constant memes, and with its recall value, who wouldn’t want that to happen? Fingers crossed, hopefully after Welcome To The Jungle, something magical will happen.”The actor also shared his thoughts on the importance of family entertainers, saying that the success of films like ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ will benefit the entire industry.“The success of any film is a success for the industry, especially at a time when we’ve forgotten what family entertainment means and what it means to be inclusive of grandparents and grandchildren.”Crediting the vision of producer Firoz Nadiadwala, Suniel added, “The mindset of Disney is the mindset that Firoz Nadiadwala has, and that is the reason for the success of Welcome To The Jungle. I am happy, excited and hope that more family entertainers will play out.”The actor also opened up about the reunion with: Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal: and other veteran stars in the ensemble cast. He said the film allowed every actor to shine despite its star-studded lineup.“The best part of the film is that even though there are many iconic actors, you can find your place and appreciate it like everyone else. Success like Akshay like Raveena, Paresh bhai, Johnny, me or any actor.Recalling the experience, Suniel said he did not hesitate to share screen space with famous actors.“Films like this give you a chance to win back the hearts of the audience. I piggybacked Akshay, Paresh ji and Raveena to be part of this successful franchise, and I’m glad I made that choice. I’m glad I’m not insecure about the people around me,” concluded the actor. His comments came shortly after the director Priyadarshan announced his exit from ‘Hera Pheri 3’ and admitted that the film will never be made. While that statement disappointed fans of the beloved franchise, Suniel’s optimism gives plenty of reason to hope that the project will find a way forward.
