Ajay Devgn-led ‘Dhamaal 4’ has comfortably crossed the Rs 100 crore nett milestone in India, riding a strong second weekend that pushed its Day 9 collections by 86.4% over the previous day. With the domestic net now passing Rs. 112 crore and the worldwide gross is around Rs. 154 crore, with the comedy franchise taking off like Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ which released on July 17 and grabbed premium screen spaces.Having comfortably entered the Rs 100 crore India net club, ‘Dhamaal 4’ now appears well positioned to finish its second weekend at around Rs. 120 crore or more India net, based on Sunday night performance and late night shows. Globally, the movie is also approaching Rs. 160 crore worldwide gross milestone. ‘Dhamaal 4’ opened with Rs. 14 crore on Day 1, before growing over the weekend to Rs. 22.50 crore on Day 2 and a franchise-best Rs. 28.50 crore on Sunday (Day 3). Monday brought the expected correction of Rs. 8.75 crore, but the film sustained itself in the following days of the week, adding Rs. 9.50 crore on Day 5 and Rs. 6.75 crore on Day 6.
