Set 17 years after ‘Dune’. Part Two’, the film follows Paul Atreides’ rise to power as Emperor of the Imperium. When guided by his prophetic visions, Paul found that he had lost his sight. “The future has a way of talking to me,” Paul said, before adding, “I can’t see what’s ahead.”The footage also explores Paul’s now crumbling relationship with Chani, described by: Zendaya:. After his political marriage to Princess Irulan, played by Florence Pugh, Chani’s bond with the Emperor seems to begin to harden and become more complicated than ever.
Robert Pattinson joins the franchise as Scytale
The trailer also offers the first look at Robert Pattinson as Scytale, the shapeshifter who emerges as Paul’s latest nemesis, preparing to depose him and “strike at the core of the empire’s power.”

Speaking during an IMAX fan event, Villeneuve revealed, “I went to my crew and said, ‘I’m going to rest. That’s it. Bye-bye.’ I returned home, and I kept waking up in the middle of the night with those images. I should do another movie.”Timothee also shared his thoughts on the emotional ending of the Dune franchise. “I really can’t believe how quickly the experience has come and gone. Maybe because COVID is a strange thing that dissolves our sense of time, it feels like a long time when you think about it, to do these three big movies in six out of seven years, it really doesn’t take long.
Star-studded cast and release date
The film has an ensemble cast led by Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Isaach de Bankolé, Charlotte Rampling, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert Pattinson and Javier Bardem.‘Dune. Part Three’ is set to open in international markets on December 16, before hitting theaters in the United States on December 18.The release sets up one of the biggest box office clashes of the year, with the film debuting in the same holiday corridor as ‘Avengers. Doomsday’. The trailer will also be included in IMAX screenings of ‘The Odyssey’ later this month, giving viewers another look at the epic sci-fi sequel ahead of its theatrical release.
