Sunita Ahuja recently welcomed viewers to her luxurious residence in Mumbai, revealing a home that perfectly balances luxury with spirituality. Estimated to cost around Rs 16 crore, the house has been thoughtfully designed with Vastu Shastra at its core. From sacred corners and elegant interiors to hand-picked decor collected from around the world, every detail reflects the family’s personal touch.During her conversation with Mashable India, Sunita also shared that her children, Yashvardhan and Tina, play an active role in decorating the house, making it a true family project.

Vastu plays an important role in every corner

Sunita revealed that every part of the house is planned according to the principles of Vastu, which she believes brings peace, prosperity and positive energy to their lives. The balcony, for example, has two tulsi plants placed in opposite corners. One belongs to Sunita, while the other belongs to her daughter Tina. The same space also doubles as his prayer corner, where he performs Surya Arghya every morning. The balcony further has a Sai Baba idol, an angel themed table decorated with small angel figurines and candles, an elephant sculpture, pyrite crystals and a large mirror, all positioned well in compliance with Vastu recommendations.

A living room designed with elegance and openness

Instead of filling the space with too much decoration, Sunita explained that the living room was designed to emphasize openness and comfort.Cream-toned paneled walls, wooden floors and layered lighting create a warm atmosphere, while the furniture adds a touch of understated luxury. The room is decorated with souvenirs and artifacts collected by the family during their travels around the world.Among the standout pieces are Italian green and brown sofas paired with Versace candles and vintage-inspired lamps, lending the space a refined English-style aesthetic.

The personal touch reflects the family’s lifestyle

The living room also serves the interests of each family member. A section is dedicated to his son Yashvardhan, complete with a large television, a PS5 gaming console and a punching bag.Another eye-catching feature is an emerald green wooden bar with functional shelves, which blends seamlessly with the room’s earthy color palette. The house also includes a marble-top dining table where the Ahuja family gathers for meals and spends quality time together.

The heart of the Ahuja household

Sunita described the living room as the busiest part of the house. Whether it’s entertaining guests, hosting meetings, celebrating with friends or enjoying family time, the space remains central to everyday life. For that reason, he believes that ensuring that the room remains Vastu-compliant is important, as it helps maintain an atmosphere of harmony and positive energy throughout the home.
