As: Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Vijay:Jana Nayagan’s last film is all set to hit the theaters on July 23, the makers have started sharing the promotional content of the film. Recently, the team shared the lyrical video of a new song titled ‘Adiye En Poonthene’.
Song ‘Adiye En Poonthene’
‘Adiye En Poonthene’ is an emotional song that shows the bond between a father and his daughter. The track features images from the film where Vijay and: Mamita Baiju seen in touching moments. It shows a small journey of how Mamitha Baiju’s character grows from a little girl to a teenager and young adult, with her father Vijay always by her side.The two-minute, two-second music video features the song composed and sung by: Anirudh Ravichander. The lyrics are penned by Karthik Netha.
About ‘Jana Nayagan’
Talking about the film, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is Vijay’s 69th and last film before entering full-time politics. His character in the film is named Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, whose initials are TVK, the same as his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.The film features his character as a former officer who adopts a girl named Viji. He wants her to grow up to be a brave and independent woman. Although he was afraid of violence, she encouraged him to join the force.The film received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
