Garner, who has daughters Violet Anne and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth and son Samuel with Affleck, said parenting has gotten easier as their children have grown. “My kids are bigger now,” Garner told Entertainment Weekly.She added, “Their father – ex-husband [Ben Affleck] – it’s been a wonderful co-parent.”

The actress also credits Affleck for giving her the freedom to continue working while making sure their children are well taken care of. “Now they’re in high school, you can’t do that anymore. But they can stay with their dad. He’s great. He takes care of them. He’s a great companion that way. And that’s a lot more free,” Garner said during the interview.Garner also spoke about balancing motherhood with her career, saying she now has more flexibility to work closer to home. “I love making movies anywhere, but I want to make movies at home,” he said.
