On Sunday the actress took to her Instagram to share a photo of herself and her daughter Ellie, along with a deeply emotional caption revealing her cancer diagnosis. She wrote, “I want to share some difficult news today… This is my beautiful daughter, Ellie. He is currently battling osteosarcoma, (bone cancer) and my family and I are doing everything we can to help him in his recovery.He continued, “I remember a quote by Fred Rogers, ‘When I was young and I would see scary things on the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who help’.” He also talked about how grateful he was to all the people in his life who helped him during that time.She ended her post by adding, “Ellie is a wonderful, deep, sensitive, smart, strong, brave, intelligent, and funny soul.
