Legendary music composer Pyarelal mourns the death of his wife, Sunila Pyarelal Sharmawho passed away on July 12 at the age of 78. The news was shared through a heartfelt announcement on social media confirming that he died peacefully surrounded by his family. Singer Priyanka Mitra posted a family statement, informing well-wishers about Sunila Sharma’s death. The statement read, “With deep sorrow and love in our hearts, we announce the peaceful demise of our beloved Amma, Sunila Pyarelal Sharma, who left her heavenly abode on July 12, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of her family.”
The family shares a heartfelt tribute
The family’s message remembered her for her grace, compassion and quiet strength while thanking everyone who supported them during this difficult time. The note continued, “Mom lived a life of grace, devotion, and quiet strength – a pillar of unconditional love to all who knew her. Expressing gratitude for the prayers and condolences they have received, the family concluded, “We are so grateful for the love, prayers, and support of our family and friends during this time. Burial will take place in Mumbai
The family also confirmed the details of Sunila Sharma’s last rites. His funeral is scheduled to take place on July 13 at the Dattatray Road Crematorium in Santacruz (West), Mumbai. Friends, relatives and members of the entertainment industry are expected to gather to pay their last respects.
