In the last two days, after returning from the UK, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are enjoying some ‘we time’ away from their everyday lives. The family of four were spotted in Portugal enjoying the sunny beaches together, and the photos sent everyone down memory lane of the family vacations that the Duke of Sussex used to take his mother, Princess Diana. Along with Portugal, the family also traveled to the UK and visited Princess Diana’s childhood home in Althorp.

Earlier this week, the Duchess of Sussex shared a series of photos from their Portugal beach vacation, which many believe are similar to Princess Diana’s famous photos from her own family vacation in 1993. Markle shared photos of the family on the beach, where she watched over her husband and their children as they played and ran around in the water.The family photos share a striking resemblance to Princess Diana’s vacation in 1993, when she, along with Prince Harry and Prince William, who had only children at the time, enjoyed the waters of the Caribbean island of Nevis. Princess Diana is known for her down-to-earth and playful nature, and is often photographed and seen on vacation with her family.In another photo from 1990, the Princess of Wales vacationed in the British Virgin Islands with her sons and their friends. Other photos show him having fun with his children; one shows him allowing his sons and their friends to bury him in the sand.
