During his scheduled visit to the UK, Prince Harry took time out from his trip to hang out with James Corden. Appearing during one of the latest episodes of Corden’s sports reality talk show, ‘After Hours’, the prince talked about FIFA World Cup development and conflict in Spain and Argentina. Not only that, but because of his name, Corden brought back the “who is the best Harry in the UK” debate, which he first started with former player Rio Ferdinand.Star striker Harry Kane inspired Ferdinand to start the ranks; however, his list has a pop icon Harry Styles at the top of the list. When the Prince was finally put in place, he joked about the situation and commented, “There’s a conflict of interest here!” However, he later admitted that the ‘Aperture’ singer was the first, and rightly so.Ferdinand’s list followed closely behind with Harry Potter, Harry Kane, and Prince Harry, rearranged by the Prince so that Kane took second place behind Styles, while he tied for third place between him and the fictional Hogwarts character. Playing a joke on the list, he commented, “And we have a Quidditch.” As for the Prince’s connection with the former One Direction singer, he met the entire band in 2015 during the Royal Variety Performance that year.

During their talk show, Corden and the Prince also discussed sports, specifically what happened in the latest FIFA World Cup match held over the weekend. The prince also weighed in on what he thinks needs to be done to lead the England team to the final for the first time in years. England won the FIFA title only once in 1966.He commented, “I think it’s a mindset; I think what we saw was a little shock value for the team. ‘We were 1-nil against Argentina, and then there was this immediate temptation to fall on defense…I don’t think that was the plan. It just happened. And you can’t, for 75 minutes, however long, try to defend an 11-0 team.”
