FWICE President confirms unloading, future travel plans
The actor was reportedly recently discharged and is recuperating at home. He is also preparing to return to work soon. BN Tiwari, President of FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees), told Bollywood Hungama, “Rajesh Sharma ji was recently discharged. He is currently recuperating at his residence in Mumbai. He is also scheduled to travel abroad in the coming days to shoot for a project.”
How the incident happened on July 8
According to statements released by actress Sudipta Chatterjee and filmmaker-producer Agnidev Chatterjee Shortly after the incident on July 8, Sharma was bitten by an insect while talking to local technicians in a densely vegetated area nearby. Since the bite didn’t seem serious at the time, he skipped immediate medical attention and took his scheduled flight to Kolkata. Soon, however, he began experiencing excruciating pain in his right leg, suffered from high fever, and became increasingly restless – prompting his admission to the city’s Manipal Hospital.
Update on his status days later
A few days ago, Sudipta Chatterjee shared an update announcing that the actor’s condition had improved, though he remained hospitalized at the time.
