The entire ‘Ramayana’ team attended the event, where an exclusive trailer was screened ahead of its global release at Comic-Con. During the event, many moments stayed with the audience, such as Ranbir Kapoor and: Sai Pallavi appeared together and their interaction with the media. Sunny Deol played Lord Hanuman in the movie and was seen sporting a sharp, clean look at the event. Kumar Vishwas, on the other hand, wrote the lyrics for the film’s soundtrack, working with composers AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer.
‘Ramayana’ release date details
Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, with Sai Pallavi essaying the role of Goddess Sita, in the movie. Additionally, Yash takes on the character of Ravana, Sunny Deol portrays Lord Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey plays Lord Lakshmana. The ensemble cast is Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal and Vivek Oberoi, among others. The film reportedly has a budget of around Rs 4,000 crore, with Part 1 slated to hit the theaters in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 after Diwali 2027.
