Sharing the photos, the actor paired the image with a cryptic caption that many believed was aimed at his critics. “Salman Khan darrrrr gaya….” he began and added, “Hmmmm Jo darr gaya vo mar gaya..”The phrase, a famous Bollywood dialogue from the film ‘Sholey’, the iconic 1975 Hindi classic film written by the legendary screenwriting duo Salim-Javed, composed by his father, Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar.

However, unlike his last two social media posts on student protests that had netizens buzzing, Salman did not elaborate on what prompted this post, leaving room for speculation.The post also comes after Salman won the internet with his post urging activist Sonam Wangchuk to end her fast following PM Modi’s tweet about strict action against the culprits involved in the NEET 2006 paper leak. Khan tweeted, “Sonam, it’s over, bro. Don’t extend it. Keep the spirits up for another day if there’s a need, which I doubt, don’t eat anything. If you want, I’ll send you food from home (sic)”.

The actor also urged the students not to allow their ongoing protests to be hijacked by politics. On Wednesday, he tweeted about the protests and violent clashes that took place. He said, “This was a peaceful movement, I feel very sad that it had to act violently. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leaking is a serious issue, and I am happy to know and see that the children of our country are coming together for a better education system, and their parents are supporting them. I really appreciate their stand, which shows dedication, sincerity, and enthusiasm to study hard and make their future a bigger, educated India.
